Day 1: September 28, 2007


Denver to Miami


Today was spent traveling; we arrived in Miami and went to South Beach almost immediately. It was a 20 minute or so cab ride to the beach and was a hopping place, with it being a Friday evening. Many people, couples, cars and activity along Ocean Drive as walked around, enjoying the scene.


We went down to the Atlantic Ocean to wade in the water and see the activity that was going on there. After about 30 minutes being there, we decided to go back up to the restaurant area and find a place for dinner. The city of Miami has a different feel to it altogether, and we got the chance to observe this greatly from our table and watched as cars rolled past on the street, and people walked by on their way to whatever Friday night activity they were doing. One thing’s for sure: the city has a vibrant night life. After taking in the scene at South Beach, we went back to the hotel and basically called it a night. The next day would be fairly long with waiting to travel and then finally traveling.

Welcome everyone! I wanted to try and find a central place to show you videos, pictures, and words from my travels that have reached near and far, so I think by creating this "blog," it is a good area to display all of the media I have collected.


The photographs are currently from an outside website (that you don't need to sign up for or anything), but I am working to get everything on this website so that it all works together eventually. So please, be patient with this as I'm working to make it easy to "catalog" and update on a frequent basis, as my travels warrant.


Once my travels have been up for a couple of weeks I will kind of "flip" them, so that the newest entries will be first, thus making it easier to read in the future.
